Correct me if i'm wrong...I thought someone posted this was labeled a 40 compound rating but the RA1 is 100...??? Really the same rubber??
It is a "Treadwear" rating, not a compound rating, and from the wikipedia page: "The assigning of UTQG grades is done solely by the tire manufacturer. In many cases, this has resulted in the UTQG grading system to be more of a marketing tool than was originally intended."
