I'm going to install a wide band O2 sensor on my 1990 1.6 and hoped that there might be some recommendations out there for a model that is easy to install, accurate and represents a strong value.

Anything is better than nothing but I strongly believe that it should be combined with a data system to get maximum value. The A/F - Lambda values need to be combined with throttle position, lateral g's, gear, fuel pressure, etc to get the full value of the information. So many variables... so little data! :-)

I have put in at least 2 dozen AEM with gauge. They have been working great and have an output for data.

I use an AEM, and log the output the my AiM system; that gives me both a visual indication and a permanent record. My only complaint is that the two at least "seem" to indicate slightly different values. Hard to be sure, but that's my impression.
