i took the iac valve and throttle body off and cleaned it because the code came up on diagnostics and now my idle is at 1200 rpms is there a way to lower it? or do i need a new iac valve? any response helps

I think I remember reading here a few weeks ago about the throttle body having a "seal" around the flap that could be damaged if cleaned "too aggressively". Could be your issue...
