It is always harder to pass an exit test when you are on fire. It is really hard when you are on your roof and on fire. When you can't breath it is very difficult to avoid some panic.

It used to. But I could not find it in the SM section. I did find it in the SS section

E. Vehicle Preparation

Appearance shall be neat and clean. Automobiles that are dirty
either externally or in the engine or passenger compartments, or
that show bodywork damage or that are partially or totally in primer,
or that do not bear the prescribed identification marks shall not be
approved for competition. Vehicles may be painted any color(s).

MEATHEAD where are you???

Dave

Sorry, sorry. I normally don't read electrical post. I pay people to wire stuff ;)

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO STRIP THE HARNESS!..Way back in the day we got rid of excess harness stuff. Now you have to run it like you buy it from the factory. You can get rid of Air bag stuff, but not the stuff in the harness.

You get into a little bit of grey area as to how you install the Harness. Some guys (Dave) no longer run it under the car but through the car. You can SORT OF... chalk that up to safety equipment installation.

You need to repair a harness just like the dealership would... That may mean you need to replace it if you bugger it up too bad.

OR..

Get really good at shrink wrap and solider. Tech inspectors don't want to see "mystery" connections or repairs in your harness.

You can paint a car any color you want so long as your "graphics", numbers and class letters and club designation all meet the rules....

Once again NASA's logic escapes me.

England wasn't really thrilled with the American Colonies' logic either.... ;)
