My favorite Spec Miata photo ever

this is the moment after AC called into the crowd for Jamie to join him on the podium.

Other than weight and some random checks like kill switch and checking for fuel test ports etc. I didn't see much. Maybe some one else knows more than I do. It was an impound all and the podium ceremonies were going on right there as well, so some tech could have been going on while we were at podium ceremony

Tech was minimal, as the entire run group was impounded. There would be two random items that you guys were not privvy to in each run group that ALL were checked for post-race (beyond the top three in each class being weighed). The guys running impound were also looking for safety infractions, but we weren't there to ruin anyone's weekend, and latitude was given to minor stuff (you guys that were close on your weights know who you are). It largely relies on a protest for it to go deeper than that, as we're doing all we can to keep traffic moving and get you guys up on the podium, spraying champaigne.

Awesome picture! Again; congrats to all!

Buras is giving AC the bird? What size helmet Danny...that's a nugget! So is AC about 5'5"?

Cute girls Todd...enjoy them now! Mine is 17 and the only way I get to talk to her is to fart so she yells at me...haha!

The younger one is a natural in front of the camera...I bet Danny will attest to that!

Very funny,

All I can say is what a great weekend, no man drama, just really good clean racing, well at least at the front. So glad to hear no one was hurt in 17.
As far as the picture goes, that was a priceless moment. Andrew is one funny dude and thanks for letting my kids share a picture that will be around forever in my family.
What a great class of racers and people.

Thank you tech for all that you guys do for us racers.

Fantastic photo.

Danny, might there be a forum that could be titled, "Driver Parent with Children" with driver suited. Start with the Todd and girls.
