I hope you're not referring to me Ron, cuz I'm not done ruffling...
Haha...your feather duster must have been left in the trailer that last race...you were to polite to the E30's! And yes, your young compared to me but ancient compared to the young men i refer to!

I think the young guns you are referring to tended to throw themselves off the track a bit but I don't remember them taking others with them...but then again my memory might be failing me like my hair is.

Both Jamie! My point is, with time the young guys find there way...though usually down the road of hard knocks. I love to see when the older more "mature" racers take these young guys under there wing and help them...as my son has said, cultivating there own competition! And when this is done, the friendships and respect that occurs makes for generally great, clean racing!

Didn't know that rear window tint was legal (safety hazard).

I assume your referring to the Last to 3rd video? If you've every driven in the 25HR event at Thunderhill You'd know why this is there...but I agree for sprint stuff though i'm pretty sure the driver can see out fine.

"9.3.53. WINDOWS
Windows shall be clear or uncolored, except in Production, Super Touring and Touring if no factory or aftermarket clear windows are available. Officials may require the replacement of windshields that are considered a safety hazard. All closed cars shall run with both front door windows open."
As I interpret this section of the GCR, tinted windows are illegal (and a safety hazard in my opinion because following drivers can't see through the [tinted] car in front). The red 99 clearly has a tinted rear window.

Though this was NASA the rule may apply there also. And your point is well taken. Plus its hard to see in the mirror in the video! Again this was done for the 25HR as some cars seem to feel they need aircraft carrier landing lights and I would guess those blinding lights are more dangerous than a tinted window!

I think there may be some confusion between #13 cars...An E30 driver, I believe #13, was given a 1 year suspension. Marco(#13 white Miata)indicated he was unaware of any action against him(suspension wise). Maybe Craig can correct this if Marco was not forthcoming with me. I think as a young fast driver his pattern of being a little to optimistic at times will subside...it's unfortunate he has dug himself a reputation early on. I will say as far as I could see he drove really clean and respectful at the SCCA opener and had his first podium finish I believe(scca). I can think of a few young drivers who ruffled feathers on track early on but have gone on to gain huge respect and props.
Some of them post great videos

You were correct. Since this was already mentioned in the driver's meeting I feel that I can post this here:
Jason Godfrey (SE30 car #13):
Infraction(s): 1) Failure to slow in a full course yellow track condition (2) complete loss of car control near a safety vehicle and disabled race car posing an immediate and potentially life threatening situation to course workers and driver of disabled car.
NASA action: Suspension of racing license for the remainder of the calendar year 2013.
Andy Chittum (SE30 car #1)
DeeJay Riley (SE30 car #21)
Micheal Shawhan (SE30 car #2)
Infraction(s): 1) Failure to slow in a full course yellow track condition near a safety vehicle and disabled race car
NASA Action: A three (3) race suspension for each driver.
Marco has not been suspended for the year.
Until I clarify and confirm any/all penalties for any other drivers I have chosen not to post them at this time. I am not trying to hide anything or protect anyone. I am trying to avoid providing false information about any of my fellow racers.

It's good to see NASA cracking down hard on this sort of thing before a course worker/rescue worker gets clobbered!
