Come on Mike, that's like when the guy asks, how long is a piece of string. Response, twice the distance from the middle to one end.

You have way more new and used cam bolts than I. Measure a new cam bolt and one that's been stretched 6-8 times. Post the dimensions.

I have never measured them.  I can just tell you that after X number of times they no longer stay put.  I choose to change preventatively every 8 times.

Interesting how this topic goes. In general the bolts only will retorque so many times---no one should question that. Never re-align/camber/etc. the car and they will more then likely last very long. Adjust the car often and you will replace once or more per season.

Also sounds like YMMV depending on which tracks (how smooth/taking curbs/rumble strips) you run from RA to COTA.

You can't just buy bolts, they are paired with eccentric washers. Buy from Mazda or online sources for OEM if you don't have a racer account, or check out the ones sold by Dave at Advanced Autosports.
