SFR peeps - Windshield replacement?

I need to replace my windshield.  Anyone recommend any local sources or track-side sources?  How much did it cost you?  Are you able to race immediately after replacement or does the sealant need to set?

Most any automotive glass shop can do the job in your driveway. I would let it sit for 24 hours before racing. +/- $225 installed. Look in the phone book. Make an appointment as they probably do not keep a Miata glass in stock.

In central Oh-ho-ho I just payed $206 for a tinted windshield and install, which included $35 for a new molding. Safelite want $300+ (1991 model)

 

Tech told me 48 hrs. for adhesive to cure. Installed in driveway. What Dave W. said, I called around and got 3-4 estimates.

I have glass Alberto if that helps. I had it done for $60 in my driveway(local installer rat job on a Sat morn...done in 30 min!)...i supplied the new(old)glass! But the CL ad is legit I believe!

SaveOn Glass came by yesterday and installed it.  $156 all-in including tax.  Nice guy.  Highly recommend them.  It seems to be a 2 person operation.
