I notched the transmission tunnel....but, need to get some sheet metal to fill the gap left from the notch. I'm at work and I didn't measure the thickness. does anyone know the approximate gauge/thickness of the steel at the trans tunnel?

Couldn't get 20ga without going somewhere out of the way. Went with 16ga. Of course, 16ga is a little harder to work with, particularly for "forming" into shapes (at least for me). So, I made the patch out of three pieces.

I feel better with the thicker stuff there anyway.

The piece I cut from the side of the tunnel was 18 gauge (0.048 inches)
