I've always purchased Milwaukee tools, but last one I went to buy said Made in China on it. I put it back on the shelf.

You are going to have a difficult time finding power hand tools not made offshore either in the Pacific Rim or Mexico. Production moved over there a while ago after TTI bought the brand. Other TTI brands include Ryobi, Dirt Devil, Homelite and Regina among others. Dewalt and others offshore as well, including the value line from Snap On.
