Currently I am guaranteed for the first time in a SCCA race a podium finish.  Bruce will win and then Brad and I will fight it out for second.  That is, if I am able to get half the laps in.

 

What's up?  Are any SM cars entering or are you taking the weekend off?  We need entries so sign up now!

Everyone, we really need some entries to pull this one off.  If we can send 17 to Thunderhill why can't we sign up 17 at home?  My daughter and I will sign up tomorrow.  After Kyle, Brad, Bruce, and I blow it in turn one maybe Sheridan and Randy can race for the win!  I would be willing to watch that one.  I have a feeling it would be downright mean.

Wouldn't you have to enter in the open wheel run group then?

 

Hold on a second, I just went and found my GCR and there's nothing in the "Formula S" catch-all rules I can find that would prevent a Miata without fenders from running.

 

Add that to STL/STU/ITA, let's do 3 run groups in one day! I could have got my novice permit signed off in one event...

Getting excited about the race this weekend!  I had to drop for more personal reasons, but you can bet this RE is going to be watching SM races.  Who will podium for the first time, and who will WIN for the first time???

 

I bet a few of you are anxious about your results right now, as you should be

  Jordan ran a perfect race leading every lap and made very few mistakes. It's been 6 years in the making and he did it in style!

I was lucky enough to ride with him on the victory lap and I think I was more excited than he was
