Any more detail about paddock area? The supps say upper grassy paddock. Does that mean the area near the bathrooms and tech shed or does that mean back of the parking lot near the track entry?

Also, does our entry come with any special access to the pro areas... garage... spectator areas? And do we need to do anything else in advance to gain credentials.

Paddock space... At this point, you know what we know. Grass paddock space all together for our race group to be paddocked all together. I don't have the exact location - I'll have it that Thursday evening when I arrive (with my trailer!).

I don't know what exactly the credentials will get us. Not sure how pro weekends work, but we will have access to false grid and pit lane for our sessions. Nothing in advance - just note the registration hours. You MUST register (YOU AND CREW) during those hours.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Matt it looks like registration is all day Friday and in the am on Saturday. That should be no problem.

do you know what hrs we can come up on Thursday?

If you can get to the Goodyear garage closest to the gas pump there is a live internet cable there where you can go on line and post a message to this thread to let us know where to park.

Just an FYI. Spoke with Barry Baker, Chief of Tech and if you have an annual on your car, you don't need to do anything other than show the logbook at registration and we are set. No extra tech of equipment and such. Hope this clears everything up. Look forward to next week.

Charley, I talked to Barry at the regional at Mid-O last weekend - told me the same thing - there will be an 'express tech' window at registration. Super-duper!

Really looking forward to this one!

I'll be at the track Thursday evening and will post about the paddock space once I get setup. (as long as my schedule doesn't change)

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the track!

Tech is during the posted times (Fri: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM & Sat. 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM & Sun. 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM) as well as by Appt. on Friday. Please contact Chief of Tech. (Barry Baker) at (seven 40) three 87 - two 675 to arrange for an appointment on Friday. This will hopefully accommodate what you're looking for.

Thanks for entering!!!

And Where is everyone else? Tons of track time for cheap!! Pro weekend with tons of other racing going on!! Racing in front of folks - something my sponsors will be happy about!! :)

Get those entries in folks! Should be a great weekend of racing!!!

Matt in one of your posts you said that if you have your annual tech and current helmet that they will do an express tech. The schedule says that tech is open on Friday from 8:30 to 11:30, does that mean that if I am going to get to the track Friday say around 3pm that I would have to call Barry to set that exchange up at 3pm? Or, would they do that at registration if my log book and helmet are current?

Do you have an idea of what time Thursday you may go up?

Today's the last day to register on-line(unless you try begging). Currently there are 44 entries, with 22 being SM. This should be fun; and the weather is sounding great.

Really?! What sort of sound does great weather make? :P

Now that the amateurs are done at Mid-O, the pros can race. :P :P

Can't wait - really lookin forward to this one.

[Edit] any chance of a split start for SMs?

Great weather sounds unlike water in your ear canal. B)

I doubt anyone would go for a split start. With SRF's, they are reasonably predictable, but with all the various IT classes, times and speeds will be all over the board.

I'm guessing the express Tech will be able to handle it, but I'll have more information after the board meeting Tomorrow evening. Sorry - I've been trying to keep up with life this week and get work/family/car all ready. I'll post an update on Thursday morning. If I don't and anyone wants/needs an update - you can call me on my cell Six 1 Four, Nine 1 Seven, Nine Six 9 Zero. I'll have it with me on and off all day Thursday - Sunday, so feel free to call me with any questions.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the track! Should be a great weekend!

The paddock space is in the lower grass area between the upper paved paddock and the school car holding area. Should be plenty of space for 48 cars. See you all when you get here!!!
