For those of you who fabricate, can you recommend a mig gun?  I have a Millermatic 212 welder, and the gun that came with it seem heavy and bulky, hard to get into tight areas.  Any suggestions for a lighter more compact gun are appreciated.

I sell Miller welders. A lot of customers have the same complaint. We replace them with either the Tweco mini mig gun or the Masterweld ML15 gun. The Tweco uses Tweco tips, nozzles, etc. the Masterweld uses Miller parts.

Hope that helps.

A couple years back I picked up a Profax compact mig gun.  I got the 180amp gun but they have a 250 and 400 as well.  It uses regular Tweco parts.  It's also got a flexible barrel option that works well but makes the barrel of the gun more like a full size gun.  I got it with a 20' whip.  I wanted to be able to use it all around the cars but not have to move the unit and bottle all the time like with the 10' whip.  IIRC it was around $125 or so.  I've got a Lincoln though I believe they have it for Miller as well.
