Is race hero broadcasting times during runoffs?
IDK, maybe someone will chime in.
I can't figure it out with all the info on from the Runoffs home page.
Otherwise you/we literally have ALL F'n week to figure it out.

I believe SCCA will be using the in-house system they used last year. race monitor may be on due to their agreement.

NASA TX has been using Race Hero for the last two events. IMO much better than Race Monitor
Wish there was a way to enlarge the font for lap times on a mobile device. For my old eyes, I need readers to see the lap times.

It's mobile, use pinch-to-zoom. At least for Android and Chrome: "Go into the Chrome settings and tap Accessibility. Then select "force enable zoom"". If you use something else, google is your friend.
Anyway Utah NASA is has been using it this season as well and I don't miss Race Monitor one bit. As the number of events grows it does get harder to find your event. IIRC Brian said they have a search for event feature planned already.
The only thing I really miss is being able to toggle sorting by time vs position. There are other small things like it'd be cool to see per-class stats (e.g.fastest lap, hard charger, etc.)

A few things to folks who may have followed this thread:
- We released native apps several months ago for iOS and Android and these prevent the screen turning off during live timing (yay!)
- We released an update in the past month that enlarged the fonts by about 10% on mobile devices plus on phones you now see both diff and gap in portrait mode
- That same update created a new one-line format for wider devices like tablets and desktops so you can see about twice as many people on one screen as you could before which I'm planning to use myself for the 25 Hour in December
We're in the midst of heavy development work that will let us do a bunch of new things - like that toggle between lap and distance - among others. Thanks for all the feedback! I'd love to hear if you think the fonts are better now? NASA West Championships will be up Friday-Sunday this week.

Please allow pinch-to-zoom in the native app like you can in the web app. You'll never find a font size that works for old-fogies that doesn't drive young whipper-snappers crazy about how huge it is. Being able to zoom allows you to see "general" stuff like finishing order zoomed out, but whether that number is a 5 or 6 without putting readers on by simply zooming in quickly then you can zoom back out. Pretty much indispensable (for me). For that reason alone I've still been using the web app. All in all a great job though!
