Just install a new master cylinder a week or so ago. Picked it up at Autozone. After bleeding brakes, etc, I am noticing just the slightest weeping of fluid where a rubber grommet for the reservoir mates up with the aluminum cylinder. And it is only on the forward grommet. Do I need to replace this unit, or can it just be sealed with a bit of clear silicon. You have to manipulate the reservoir back and forth a bit to really see the slight moisture. Worried about air being drawn in to the system. Can't find my friggin receipt either....Thanks.

I wouldn't risk my life on it. A-zone should have a record of your purchase.

Needs to be replaced or rebuilt. They should have taken your phone # or rewards card number for the warranty.

Needs a new grommet, not a rebuild. get a few from Mazda.
