The 949 Racing 6UL in 15x7 is shown on their site right now, but the spec says it is 11.3 lbs. Isn't that well under the legal minimum?

15x7
+36 offset
11.3 lbs
4x100
Low pressure cast monoblock construction
T6 heat treated
67.1mm center bore
Double valve design
JWL approved
Silver painted center, machined lip, durable clear coated finish
Cap included
Valves not included
Uses standard 60° conical seat lugs

I was too. What's the conclusion on this?

I was under the same assumption, I looked at the NASA rule and it only gives you a max Track width, it does not say you can run a 25 or 30mm offset rim. Has anyone done the math?

Never done any math of any kind here, but I know that you can't have a wheel under 13lb.!!!!! :D

A 25 mm offset wheel will pass the track width measurement. that is what I used to measure the track width when I wrote the rule.

Not only is the 6UL too lite, but the 36mm offset is not optimal

Good, 'cause I have two sets of TDs with 25 mm offsets.
