Joey - I saw your car there today. Recognized it from iracing. First time that's happened, & seems backwards.

I need to get a headset & mic so I can fully participate.

Darin that's awesome that you recognized the car! I was there working for Randy Hales's mx5 cup team for him and Frankie Muniz. I am testing there today and I am again tomorrow with mazdas family and friends day. I got to drive a Mazda 2 and a mx5 cup car so it has been a very fun day. I am battling sound in the spec miata and hope to have it fixed for tomorrow.

Joey had back surgery is out...cant sit yet, but I will be there....so you will have someone easy to beat! I am also planning on letting a fellow teen mazda challenge racer David Dodge use my account to give it a try.

Whoa what happened? Joey going to be alright? But we will be glad to have you and I'll try to take it easy on Dodge. Just an FYI by the rules you are not allowed to let anyone drive on your account. I'm not sure about hosted races and practice but definately for official races. I dont care for our hosted race, Ive done it too. Just be careful telling others you allow someone else drive your account, you may want to keep it under your hat.

He hurt playing and lifting for football last August. He was a pretty good linebacker! It was his passion and He was a starting Linebacker as a Junior and 2 weeks before the first game he slipped a disc. Over the last 11 months we tried everything to avoid surgery, but nothing worked. The surgery took out part of his vertebra to take out a spur and take out a portion of the disc. He can not sit for 2 weeks and has been on bed rest and walking. He is making progress and is expected to make a full recovery. He will be back to racing in a couple of weeks and is hoping to play baseball in the spring of his senior year....
