I've only been to BHF once, last year in October. This year I want some more practice on the track. Friday open practice is $300, double classing Sat/Sun is $340.

Anyone with experience at that track know which is a better option? How much track time do you get on Friday?

You'll have a pretty good idea what the track is like on Friday so you don't look like a total newbie for practice for the weekend. (Practice isn't really for learning)

Sooner the better imo, you don't want to learn the track on the 2nd race on Sunday.

Just sayin, to each his own,

J~

If you enter 2 classes you'll get a lot of track time but it can make the weekend pretty hectic and will reduce the time between sessions that you have to care for the car and review data, etc...  On the plus side though you are at the track 1 less day.

Usually the Friday test days will offer 4-6 on track sessions, a lot.  They also offer a half-day rate I think.  The track people can tell you.
