Old Guys Rule, Again

We clearly have two camps that have formed in Or Region. We have the under 20 camp (including Spence at 24) and we have the 40+ camp. As a senior member of the 40+ camp I feel obligated to point out that the kids are down 3-zip with no real signs of life. In spite of a couple of poles the little guys haven't managed to bring home the hardware this year. Maybe next month we should give them the front row AND a head start!
Just trying to drag out the fun weekend a little longer....

We do need to be careful though, the start of race one could have been the demise of more than one car and we don't want anyone to get hurt either. There was a time in Oregon region SM, we were seeing about one total a weekend and there was at least one broken bone in the process. Let's have fun, but let's also take it easy on those starts. Assume you are three-wide through the chicane and all should go well. Let's have fun and be safe at the same time!!!

It was a hard fought race and you gave it everything you had but came up short. You aren't going to use that old I jumped my car 50 feet at Thunderhill excuse again are you? I've got video. you're just going to have to dig a little deeper next time I may be old, but at least I have my nice hair and I beat your young ass!
kiddie karter boys and girls, take note, master at work

Ken can't ever get anyone to bite, so I guess I'll have to give him what we wants...

(Thanks Bruce)
You mean that hair styled in toilet while flushing? We let you guys start up front just to give you a chance and you blow it! Besides, if I wouldn't have slipped in some kid's oil, I would have lapped the field! Damn, in the second race I had another kid try dumping water in front of me, but I was ready for them that time.
Keep going Bruce, they'll get the idea. Gotta teach 'em everything!

I hear Viagra is offering sponsorships to the current old geezer crowd.
Hey, if you need a deal on Viagra just let me know. I was getting 5 emails a day for 95% off until the spam filter nailed them.

My last weekend at PIR (the July 4 double last year) ended with a ruptured brake caliper (no brakes) at the end of the back straight; you're not the only one who has failed to finish a double.I might have something to work with and possibly finish a double double.
Weather permitting, I'll give you young folks (that's all of you, pretty much, except Gary and Austin) the increasingly rare thrill of sharing a track with me in two weeks.

I tried to dump my oil off line. I think I have the rolling resistance out now so that I can blow a motor over a mile from pit lane and still coast in now too. Based on the commercials, I think Cialis is more a potential sponser for me. Give me a 40 minute window and I might blow up prematurely but if I have a chance any time all day, I might have something to work with and possibly finish a double double.
Cialis, no matter your age you can still hit a(on) Robin Byrd.

Based upon the response to my joke it does appear that you all are actually a bunch of limp ?!@#!@#'ed old geezers and need viagra.
Just call me "old hickory"
This coming from a man who for a whole season complained that he couldn't perform because every time he got up to temp, he'd start to misfire.

However, don't forget that I'm in the 33 club and you are not.
What's the status on a new engine? Randy and I are going to the Conference race next weekend for some needed practice. Can you make it?

Will be good to race with you and Randy. Now how about a special group name for those of us on social security.

Not sure yet. Mazda said 2-3 days for freight. I ordered it on Monday morning so I expected to have it in the car already but so far all I've recieved is a very lage box with 4 gaskets in it and a mountain of packing paper.
I'm ready to swap parts and install though. I can't make the test day Friday either way. I've already been booked solid with work meetings.
