Do you need to replace or resurface rotors when switching from Carbotech to G-Loc brake pads?  I haven't read about of any compatibility issues between them.  I think there is a compatibility issue with Hawk pads...

I'm thinking of trying G-Loc next season but have fairly new rotors on Carbotech pads.  Don't want to replace them unnecessarily.

Thanks.

When I was switching from Carbotech to G-LOC, I asked Danny if the pads were rotor compatible, and he said: "Yes, they are completely rotor compatible with the CT compounds."

Number to number they are compatible. If switching to a different compound I always change rotors.

Thanks again fellas.  Ran the G-Loc 12/10 pads on fresh rotors yesterday at Thunderhill.  Nice difference compared to the 10/8 setup.  Not as big of a difference as I thought it would be but just a bit more bite.
