Hopefully Bob will come on and correct or give more detail...but here is what I know!
Bobby ran SM in the SFR region early on as the class was growing. Maybe a few events after 2008...I think it was maybe 2013/14 when I last saw him. He tragically was killed in a motorcycle accident a few years ago far too young leaving behind a devastated family. I'm hard pressed to think of any current racers in our region that would have run with Bobby...but as his Dad has requested here he is hoping some former SM racers from the 2000's will come out! Bob was a fierce competitor and ran with the top guys in his era. God speed.

Bobby was a great guy and a lot of fun. Many of the old guys ran with him at the first Runoffs at Topeka. Was shocked to hear of is passing, genuinely one of the nicest guys in the sport.

We all learned about Bobby Carter and met the family this weekend. Judging by the family, he must have been a great guy. Wish we all could have raced with him.
