Posting for a friend who has a 99 Miata, not an SM. Has had an intermittent problem with it starting, but now it just won't start. He has fuel and spark, and has tried to self diagnose it, but he usually diagnoses with duct tape and a hammer. Any ideas of a way I could point him to resolve the problem? Thanks!

Check the gap between the Crank Sensor and the Sensor Wheel teeth. I want to say it is suppose to be 0.1 mm (.040").
