I'll be there......hoping the weather forecast improves. Silly weather in the valley.

Car is going to be in SM trim for the first time also. Time to see how slow I really am.

Jeff Longo, if you're reading this, it's going to be good racing with you again!

SM Group 5 is packed, and G3 (w/ SSM&SM2) is oversubscribed to the point where they just moved the production cars to G1.

another classic weekend!...Looming showers on Friday and a perfect Saturday.
Top 18 on Friday were within a second of each other.
I qualified 14th.
qual race finished 8th
race finished 5th

-
Both races were high strung and intense as they were only 15 laps.
track was not fast and kept everyone tight.
got alot of quality video
-
Shot out to Don Duman...clean racer, was great to finally have a chance to run with you.
post your video?
-
also MIKE and VICKTOR- our team compound was awesome.

Still have to review my video, but still mad at myself for throwing away a good finish in the SM2 race when that lapped car balked a few people and BK and I wrecked.

BK, I'm still sorry about it even though you say I had no place to go.

Adam, great 5th place finish on Saturday. you've got a great car under you now with that Kessler setup. I was pretty psyched I was able to keep up with you during Qually, but as always you proved how good of a racer you are.

The group three (SSM, SM2, STL, STU, GTL) race was a bit hairy. We had a long black flag to clean up the cars that got wrecked on lap one. Racing was pretty hot and heavy after that. In group five (SM) I was shuffled out at the start avoiding a spinner, and finished exactly where I started.....in the middle.

Good weekend in that I think I set a new fast lap for myself at Limerock on a track that wasn't the best it has been (SM pole qual was a 1:03.0 or .3? Lap record is in the high 1:01's?) Bad with carnage.

A lot of big names weren't there, probably because it was a regional. Steve G, Ian P, and Elivan did not race. For sure they would have been up towards the front.

Adam: Team compound is always a good idea, even if I have to get there at 3 in the afternoon to secure it! Hope to be at the July sprints, but I may have to miss it with the upcoming move.

I was happy to finish with no damage and was not happy with all the contact while racing. Adam, send me video of that ahole spinning multiple cars and trying to knock off my rear bumper at the end of the second SM race. I was able to keep off of Craig every lap through the left hander so why couldn't this dude do the same to me? New guy...

We all got overheated and bailed on the 2nd ITS race in favor of a cool seat in the hauler.

Here is my video from the SM2/SSM Group 3 race start. I used a really bad free converter so apologies for the crappy video quality. A better conversion is coming when I download Sony Vega.

Some pictures from the weekend. Shoes the incidents in the left hander pretty well. No need for a facebook account to view.

Good save around 5:50 and again later in the downhill. Was gonna use that weekend as my first event in Spec Miata but didnt realize the cost involved in a 3 day rental, but by some of the video and descriptions of "action/carnage" on track by various people who were there that weeknd I may have done myself a favor. I hope I'm in a better position this year to be able to run an event or two.

Come to NHMS instead Mike. Not as many idiots show up at our northern-most track.
