Dude Andrew
I stumbled upon this today and it doesn't put you in a good light.
All that crap about Pat trying to take you out, It sure doesn't look like Pat trying to take you out.
If you stop and go on the video you can see your white glove under the 9 o’clock position. Or you turn left.
Just Saying, not cool.
I hope in the future when you are having a hard time getting around someone, we should not expect this...

I saw the bee line to the apex on the runoffs vid slowly chopping you off. Could site rule of racing room, lol.
This vid show a bang left from you. Was it give me room, dropped a wheel and needed room or hard racing? or your side.

Andrew
I have raced you door to door, nose to tail for the past 7 years along with many others, and we have never, not once, put a wheel to each other.
This has come to be expected from racers like you and everyone else at the front, we do not have moments of transgression.
I have total respect for you on the track.

You know I love you old timer!
But I will bite.......
Pull that SRF and the SM out to your favorite track and invite me down for some lapping. ''Lapping" is what you will find me doing..... Don't go thinking because this old fat bald redneck has not been around that, that means the talent pool has surpassed me. Or, ask all those SRF guys that beat you at the runoffs what happened when I got pissed off and bought a SRF for one race to facilitate some old school back in the day posts at their site (when they were bashing SM). The result was $25k out of my pocket and a track record, pole, national win at St. Louis that still stands today in a car I never drove before. Stick that in your John Black pipe and smoke it...... I did it then, and I can do it now..... Doubt it? So, when I speak on subjects I do so with some HUMBLE authority based on a tad bit of experience and a bunch of ego.
That all is said in good fun! I know that you know I have a show and that my comments need to be show worthy. Does not diminish my respect for all of you, your abilities, accomplishments and Malarkey alike!
So, Sebring or RAT?
PS: Congratulate your friends and only bash them with closer friends is the ticket, I learned to live by that, might serve you too...... (that is my last free lesson for you )

Please guys, install left side protection in your car like the rule says for the MX5 Cup/WC series. That rule was written after my left side impact at RA and having taken out the wall years later in WC at Watkins with the left side protection, I know first hand that it make a huge difference! Don't think about it, do it!

All I can say personally is F--- Team Racing. It kind of reminded me of the old Roller Derby with the Bay City Bombers.

Your posts here and your commentary on Speedcast Tv are usually very entertaining. It sounds like you don't have the same opinion of the current SM hotshoes that Mr. Drago does. Do you feel his comments were self serving as he is at the top of SM or do you feel the talent was much better when guys like Bob Stretch were lapping fields in their highly prepped cars. I'm new at this so I'm just trying to catch up, as my friend Blake likes to remind me, I'm just a Larry trying to be one of the cool kids. You know I love you old timer!

As to the team racing that was so effective at the Runoffs; do you feel the SCCA can do anything about it? As Mr. Slattery pointed out it doesn't seem to be the best path to keep the class alive and thriving. It's not enough for you to have a top car and top talent, you have to have a top team to compete for the highest prize. That is certainly not in spirit of grassroots racing. Or do you think it happens in every class at all levels and is just part of racing?

I am running against Rick Maki to be king of the Larrys in 2012. Please vote for me, I have a binder of larrys to chose from.

I re-watched the race on Speedcast, I am sure that Danny Steyn would have a good video of what happened
Hmmm...unlike Danny not to post right away...I hear "Jaws" music playing in the background???
