You all probably know the rules but to remove any confusion or disillusion:

 

iii Drivers must maintain the safety car’s pace and not
improve their positions or begin racing until the green flag
has been displayed to restart the race.

 

Note - safety car's PACE until green.

 

So for all those in the know, maybe you could share conventional restart protocols for common tracks?

Yea, I was thinking of bringing back the debate of rules VS supposed safety/fairness thread.
