There is something very wrong with the image in my head:

• I see a bunch of racecar drivers standing in line at the liquor store all with 2 gallons of Everclear in their cart. "Honest, its for the CAR!!!"
• Or, while fueling the car before grid, getting out the bottle of Everclear to pour in the "tank".
• Or a TV commercial with some grinning winner, "Everclear! It makes me go FASTER!"

From my view of the starts - way, way back in the pack I just assumed there was a lot of ethanol involved. My experience is that the stuff used to make me pretty crazy.

I don't have a dyno. Couldn't I just add of a bottle of 100 proof vodka per tankfull?

Is that for the driver or the gas tank

Note: 100 "proof" means 50%. The other 50% is water.

Questionable legality notwithstanding....everclear is essentially 200 proof / 100%.
