I just wanted to send in a few thoughts before I board my flight to South Africa where I will be on business for 2 weeks. No doubt I will be checking in here as often as internet connections permit.

Danny thanks for the post, I met you and Tom at Mid Ohio when you came up to do an SCCA race. I am glad to read your post and its positive spin on the week because I aspire to make it to the runoffs but reading this thread gives one pause, as the fun factor is lost in all the man drama.

you know, when you fly to south africa to take pictures of models, race cars may just be "work" in comparison...

Sir, what is a block? Last I looked you get one move and when you are out front the trailing car has to move with you or yield.

GCR rule 6.11.1.A. "Drivers" are responsible to avoid physical contact between two cars.

GCR rule 6.11.1.B. "Each driver" has a wright to racing room,

GCR rule 6.11.1.C. "Abrupt changes in direction that impede or affect the path" of another car attempting to overtake or pass may be interpreted as an efford to deprive a felllow competitor of the right to racing room.

GCR rule 6.11.1.D. A driver who does not use his rearview mirror or "who appears to be BLOCKING another car attempting to pass" may be black flaged and/or penalized,

Didn't view another rule that references BLOCKING.

I consider JD2 a racing friend. I also viewed the deal pre T8 along with the "I'm waiting for you" deal that went on between T5 & T6.

Jim, do you know who does Goulart's motor work?

My father (Ademir) built and set up that car and power train.

The car was on my retail front line, he walked into my office and keyboard, took the keys and told me to take it off the sales inventory and that he was taking 2 service bays permanently lol

Anyways, thank you everyone for the kind words in regards to my father Ademir and my brother Elivan.

To those who are speculating on the 44/2 issues...

No need to speculate anymore, there was a ruling, and that's all that counts. Anything else is just revisionist history :)

Satire is primarily a literary genre or form, although in practice it can also be found in the graphic and performing arts. In satire, vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, and society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be funny, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon.

Is this posted on-line to read??

Danny S...thanks for the write up. Whether intentional or not VB took you out and should be :flamed: You had a legitimate shot at the championship...and podium for sure without this...just as JD2 for 1/2 a lap :banghead:

On a lighter note, the broadcasters on-line pronounced your name as "Stain"...is this correct?? Or is it like a beer "stein" :scratchchin:
