Just curious to see who is brave enough to race at Nelsons...in October.. when the weather is usually crummy. It's Nelsons so I'll be there for sure....

Im going to mount up a set of studded tires.....


Reminder! mounting said studded tires totaly tech shed legal. Running said studded tires in anything other than a practice session is ILLEGAL! now back to our regularly scheduled programing. :fart:

Its only so that I can get back to my trailer after the race is completed :toast:


Ok but running those durring a quali or race will get you dropped back off at the orphans home of Cleveland.

Sorry, they closed the orphange in Cleveland. Your best bet is to drop him off at the Amish schoolhouse north of the track.

You don't need studded tires; just get a set of Hoosiers hot and immediately drive through some gravel. Works great on ice.

OK, assuming the weather doesn't look totally crappy, I'll be there. Nelson this time of year is such a gamble.....I've seen sunny & hot, cold with horizontal rain, and an inch of sleet - all on the same October weekend.

OK, assuming the weather doesn't look totally crappy, I'll be there. Nelson this time of year is such a gamble.....I've seen sunny & hot, cold with horizontal rain, and an inch of sleet - all on the same October weekend.
