Any topic suggestions?
I am also going to start hanging around in live chat when I sign on if I remember. If we can get in the habit when signing on, there are usually some pretty good discussions and /or entertainment that develops.

We are going to bring this back starting next week. I have upped our subscription where the room will hold 50 people. If we out grow that, we can add more.

We need some ideas guys?
how about "analyzing the line" - some cats have a way of seeing the track "differently" than the rest of us. There is the book-line and then there is the fast line. I can't yet tell the difference.

Sure you can tell the difference. Lap times don't lie. And DE instructors only know how to make you go fast SAFELY. I am not saying that going fast is risky but it has a lower probability of the failure being safe.
So, I'm looking for the thought process in a fast driver that says "I'm going to try this" and recognize it made me faster. I have a pretty terrible memory when it comes to working my laps... do most of the top drivers do too? Are you video taping and overlaying data, or what are the factors that improve this for the top drivers.
I'm not looking for a 2 sentence answer, as much as I am offering an idea for a gotomeeting lecture. I would find this analysis valuable...

Trying to get former National Champions Eric Foss and Brad Rampelberg to do a night together. Will keep you posted.

I'm excited by the data discussion. I'm not a dumb person but I find it absolutely overwhelming.

Next year I will go back to using Traqmate. Data is a valuable tool, but its not your only tool. Data can help you shorten the learning curve but only if you can drive consistently to begin with. I tell my customers all the time I will not let them buy anything to make the car faster until on a test day they can run 10 laps within 1 sec or less. Then we work on set up to see how much that gets us, THEN we start spending money!!!!
I bet that saves them a lot of money.. That is very hard for most to do.
