I would also be remiss if I did not give a huge shout out Thank you to Matt Downing, driving IT in the midst of our SM battle, he always makes sure the front runners stay together, often times sacrificing his own track possition. Thanks Downing for being a classy guy as well as a hale of a driver, we all appreciate your kindness. And thanks also to OVR SCCA for doing the work to make this event possible, as well as adding tech back in for this years event.


Thank you!! I can't begin to tell you how much FUN I had this past weekend running with you guys! I definately had the best seat in the house to watch the SM race!!! With no chance to catch 1st and with 3rd far enough back - I was happy to get out of the way and let you guys battle for the top 4 positions! I hope I wasn't a distraction for anyone I was behind! I really had a great time running with you guys this weekend!!

And a BIG THANK YOU to all who came to the event!! This was our 2nd year doing this event and we had a great turnout! Some small issues, but being the small fish in the ocean - we put on one heck of a show and I believe most folks had a great weekend!!!

Hope this becomes a yearly event. Packed house Saturday - really cool to see all the people watching our little race.

Might have recruited a couple people too.

Jim Henson (reincarnated) is new to Club Racing in SM this year, but he has considerable experience in those Junior SM's called karts, and on the other side of the corners waving flags.

I actually sent an email on the subject to the folks at Mid O, no response as of now. I think OVR is looking into it.
