Other Information:
Entrants may bring car to track on Thursday eve, but must register 1st thing in the morning. Cars must be taken to the area designated by Mid Ohio. It will be roped off area in upper paddock towards the permanent showers.

Anyone on the list know just how early "Thurday evening" might be? Hate to show up at 3PM and have to wait for a couple of hours to get in.

you can go up anytime after I pick my paddock spot.

3pm will be safe, I went up at that time last year. Just bring you SCCA id as they will want to charge you entry and you have to tell them, Dude I be a racer man, let me in. we are parking the same place as last year in the grass by showers.

Big Huge congratulations to JUSTIN HILLE!!!!! finishing P2 in both qualifying races and taking P1 in the Final race. It was the best weekend of the year, and by far the most fun. First weekend I could pull the car right off the trailer and not turn any wrenches, hit the setup just right, and had big HP thanks to EAST STREET. After leading for about 13 of the 19 lap race Hille put an incredible pass on me to outside of the Carousel, and then traffic would have such a big factor in the overall outcome of the race, with Hille held up by traffic to allow me to make a pass back to P1 and pull away with what looked like an insurmaountable lead, only to have that vaporize being hung up twice with laped cars allowing Hille a run down the back straight for a pass under braking, and still looked like it would be a fight to the line, but as Hille took a pass in T9 I followed him through only to have the lapper turn down on me, and rather than put him into the wall I jumped on the brakes and the race for first was officially over. In all racing with Hille, Guthrie, Fast Frank Todaro, was so exepctionaly clean all weekend, everyone raced hard and clean with zero incendents between front runners, never even so much as a hint of a blocking move by anyone. Cant wait to do this event again next year.

Congrats to Justin's win, first SCCA race weekend for him, This kid can drive, i think he will be back. Kyle won the qualifying races this weekend and never drove below P2. We had a 66 car field I had a chance to practice passing in places I did not think were possible with only 2 feet of pavement under my tires. I hope to post some highlight video of Sunday.

Jim I wish I was coming out to the sprints. Humm, after 3 weekends in a row, my job and family just get in the way.

Thanks for the write up Kyle - glad you got your mojo back. Congrats Justin - big win - many more to come for sure. Sounds like a great event - hope they continue doing this - will have to add to the calendar - just wish it wasnt back to back with the June Sprints

Awesome event, awesome racing. Thanks for the writeup Kyle I drove as hard as I could the whole race and was hoping to make you do the same . Really cool to have spectators and other big races to watch. It was great!!

I would also be remiss if I did not give a huge shout out Thank you to Matt Downing, driving IT in the midst of our SM battle, he always makes sure the front runners stay together, often times sacrificing his own track possition. Thanks Downing for being a classy guy as well as a hell of a driver, we all appreciate your kindness. And thanks also to OVR SCCA for doing the work to make this event possible, as well as adding tech back in for this years event.

Congrats to Justin - who almost didn't make the show. He was an alternate up until Saturday's race.

Definitely a great weekend. Good racing all around. I might be somewhat biased, but the IT/SM Shootout races were at least as exciting as the Pro races. Once again we proved the Stewards wrong by having very clean races, with almost no incidents throughout the weekend (unlike the Continental guys/gals).

Bring on the IT/SPEC*tacular!
