What do you guys suggest for a starting point for fuel pressure on a 99?

I just installed an AFR gauge and know I have to go off of those numbers but just wanted to know first what number I should start at.

I am at the track right now and will be fine tuning it tomorrow.

What does a stock 99 pressure run?

Thanks!

I've heard 52-54 is a safe range for pressure. I have mine set there on the advice from others on this site.

52/54 is normal. You may end up between 48/56 depending on fuel and conditions.

This year has produced some interesting data for us. Last year we ran in the 49 - 53 range depending on track and ambient conditions.

Going to the smaller restrict or this year we anticipated that we would need to reduce the FP to get the right AFR. In fact we have observed just the opposite. This year we are running around 55 - 58 psi. Not sure what the explanation is. This gives us an AFR starting at 13.5 at around 3500 rpm (where we start our dyno pulls), dropping down to around 12.2 at 6900 rpm. Anything leaner than that we seem to sacrifice too much torque.

Interested to know what others are seeing I the AFR range.

Satire is primarily a literary genre or form, although in practice it can also be found in the graphic and performing arts. In satire, vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, and society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be funny, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon.

In the early races this year when it was cool Road Atlanta in March for example, I was running 49 or so. now that the temps are going up I will likly have to richen it up some. I have my Air fuel plugged into the traqmate data so I can monitor it. As the temps go up so should the fuel mixture.

Thanks guys for the quick help yesterday. I ended up setting it at 52 and it seemed to be giving me a good AFR reading but sunday was 4 race sessions and I wasn't really paying attention to the AFR to be honest. Now I need a data logger... or maybe I will remove my ballast and put my 5 year old in the passenger seat with a pad and pencil.

We don't need a lecture on forum decorum...with all due respect DS. Guys like this just need to be quietly bounced. We all know AC and JT schtick...all in good fun and tolerable. This guy has no business being here...ads zero to anything he has posted to and is not who he says he is or what. Really mods?? Is he, MOOVN and EF the same person?
