He is scheduled to be at Shepard for two more weeks. He is having 5 hours of therapy a day, Occupational, physical and speech. He has been responding very well but gets tired easy. There will be an assessment on Thursday regarding hIs progress, then we should know when he can go home and will continue outpatient therapy. How long? Nobody knows, but we are very hopeful it will just be a few months.
Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers, keep them coming his way! They have worked a miracle so far!

Just posted!!!
Update on Mark: He has been at the Shephard Center undergoing rehab for a week now. He has made a ton of progress and we found out today that he will be able to be go home Saturday!! This was an awesome surprise as they originally thought he would be there until July 18th. He is going to continue his recovery in their outpatient rehab program from here on out. He has come a long way in a week and a half and we are thankful for all the thoughts and prayers. Happy 4th of July!!

Update on Mark: he is really doing well. Had some awesome test results this week that showed his brain is functioning back to normal. He's gonna get back to work and driving on the street in the next few weeks. He's going to see some specialists in Pittsburgh this week to begin his comeback plans. I'm also very excited to have him coming to lime rock for the CTSCC season finale to be on the pitbox calling my race in a few weeks. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers over the last 2.5 months as they have worked miracles for us. He has a bit to go still but he's improving everyday.

UPDATE: I saw Pepe at MRLS last weekend and he said Mark 'MAY" be at Limerock for the last GA race to "visit". He said he is doing well. I asked if Mark was going to be at the ARRC and he said possibly.
