Nothing is ruled out but at our group 7 meeting we collected some good feedback. I want to make sure we take everything into account so we're making the best decision, not the easiest decision.

There are two types of Majors in the pilot program but as discussed in the other thread on the announcement, it's highly likely there will be a lot of changes between now and 2014 in how the program is structured. In all cases, we'll retain the ability to run our own regional-only classes with separate tires if we so choose. Board meeting tonight...

My two cents:
I like to be able to cross over but only did so for the festival weekend. (Pro RR)
The Toyo RR has had nice things said about it but no one know how many heat cycles we will get before they go off. (Con RR)
Hoosiers are known by now but many will struggle until they get a proper setup on the car. (Con) They are known to have the 1-2 very fast laps then drop off. Everyone knows this so anyone can use this limited advantage. I most likely will not cross over if these are chosen.
RA1's are known quanity (Pro). However if chosen SFR becomes an island by being the only place using them. (Con)
All things considered I would love to see SFR on RR's. I would say that if cross over is not your consideration you should be on the Hoosiers.
That is my opinion. It is worth exactly what you paid for it....

Like your thinking Mr. Evans! I hope the region agrees with you...and if so i hope the RR pans out!! So far I've heard nothing negative...but can they be any worse than a 6 cycle Hoosier(Competitive)
