I guess no runnoffs is without its drama... As we all know even from just running a nasa nationals, you can get dq'd only to get your full possition restored. I think as always the drama will unfold and story will come out soon enough.

Tech closed at 8pm, we were asked to pull charb's motor out and OPM had to pull danny and stephan's cars in. Charb's motor is in pieces in the tech trailer, tech resumes at 7:45am.

Did speedcast have to edit our race? Is that why its not up yet but everyone elses is? Right after the SRF race it goes straight to lunch break?

What a day! Long morning of nerves and waiting... Intense race, intense tech, and nice dinner at Paddock club(that was the best part). I know this is the normal stuff, but I Really want to thank Drago for a great car all year! We worked so hard.... Thank you, your guys, Robert Lloyd and my other teammate Pat Sandlin.
The field was so deep, I told the guys this week, "somebody very very good is gonna get 10th" , The race was awesome, missed the set up a tad, 2 loose in rt and tight in left, but drivable. Pat really helped our start enabling me to move to P2.... Even though Jim and I wanted to get away from the field I quickly realized that was Not going to happen. Andrew and Danny were right there..... Andrew was really fast!... And Dannys orange car is like a magnet in your mirror! These guys are really good!
Jim and I were fast in completely dif areas due to my mistake in cross wt.... Bottom line is without a mistake, nothing I could do with Jim. Jim deserved this win, and I've never been so happy with second place.
SM has great competitors, Todd, Danny, Andrew(thanks for running me clean in the mid straight), Matt, Chris, and many others... I have so much respect, and will say again we all have and could drive anything well.
This race and this track always seem to throw you curves... IMO a lot of luck is needed to do well. Many guys could have been on the podium. Looking forward to seeing many of you next year.

some reason it is missing in the HIGH quality copy online, but the low quality version SM race is in there around 71 min mark.

Fair enough but I did go and get a high power nail gun just in case. Of course, I can use it on Pat for his idiotic blocking job for his buddy Drago. Oh ya! Justice was already served on that one.

A HUGE congrats to Drago for finally getting the OFFICIAL win this year! Way to go - well played all season and lots of hard work. Congrats to Berry as well and the others that ran a good race. Too bad Buras got shuffled back early - he had a rocketship with those lap times.
