I have watched Craig work incredibly hard the last two years to get to where he is and it's been intimidating to see the level of committment required to play at this level. I know also that Jim works way harder at this than is probably healthy for his business. I am sure this is also true for Charbs and the others. You guys rock.

Apparently you better put the BF hammer back on the shelf...

Thanks to Tom, Tracy, Jonathon and David at OPM for the exceptional work done to my car and others over the weekend. Special thanks to Mike Rossini for being there for me and delivering me a great engine that allowed me to be competitive all week. Thanks to Glenn and Andre at Traqmate for your help this season.
Was really disappointed to see Todd fade, his car was pretty stellar and I believe he could have been a contender for the win. In the end he pushed Pat McGinnis around to a new track record. Also disappointed to see Alex disappear with electrical gremlins.
Anyone who has raced the Runoffs fully understands what a humbling experience it can be, whether finding your program is not quite up to those at the front, or finding your setup is not quite there, or possibly finding that you don’t quite have the ability to put together 13 mistake-free laps.
Despite the humbling nature of this race where at least 10 racers felt they had a shot at the title, I still recommend this race to all of you, it is something you should do, even if just for the experience of racing in a group where the talent is so deep that the top 12 qualify within one second on a 4-mile track.
And thanks to the SCCA for putting on a great event. Butch, I look forward to the 4-1-4 shortened schedule, I hope you can make it work.

Todd the tool fit the same way last year. Good news is it will probably get fixed now. Jim won. Good job. Andrew was the better driver just no drag queens.

Seems as if everyone collected all their parts and went home with no penalties handed out... what was that all about? Was that a protest or are tear-downs now a new tradition?
Dave,
Teardowns are typical for the winner and other intensive checks for the podium placers at the Runoffs. Heck, 3 years ago on one trip to RA (2009) for the Runoffs, I spent 3 hours in tech just after a qual session getting the twice over from Meathead. Always have your tools and an extra set of hands for tech.

to win in this class, you must push every tolerance, spend like drunken sailor, drive flawless, have luck on your side, have talent galore, and did I say already have luck on your side!
This is racing, friendships are made, and often tested. Enemies arrise and sometimes fade away. Those that hate and despise you sometimes even help you if only to try to conquer you on the track.
I think more of us understand then you think... But today is not the day

If they made glass houses in texas they would have to be made of bullet proof glass, there is alot of damn guns down there in texas lol. To adress Blakes point.
