Only ran 1 race this year. I'll be there though. Maybe next year as a competitor. (how did you know I was "registered". Are you one of my neighbors?)And your registered right?

ahh nothing better than staying at work until 11 for the ninth night in a row and finally hitting some really good numbers on the dyno I then did the ghetto 500 and tour up the neighborhood with my SD exhaust singing at full song
Jim

Drago, ya let fly with all that pent up energy, I hope you feel better now.
Danny, last year I couldn't post anything about the 1.9 (anyway it was a 1.something) for fear of getting bounced off the site.
Here's a little fact of life with respect to the Runoffs.
More than one person has done EVERYTHING correct moe than once & said person has never won the Runoffs.
Another for the Wheeler list.
For the Runoffs at Road America the larger Spec Miata race class has run it's course just like the Spec Miata race class ran it's course for the Cat National at Road America. Yes, I understand Spec Miata went national, but the fields continue to reduce since the Cat National days of 60-70 cars. I believe it was Ross that posted the different spec lines of cars at the nasa nationals at Mid Ohio. Without saying we all know reasons for 50 at nasa & 24 at SCCA.
But then, per ABC I'm a bench racer, what do I know.
See ya Sat./Sun. at the Runoffs.

Dammit ... just like me, Father O'Shaughnessy, and most of Texas told you before, if you spend too much time on the dyno, your palms will grow hair and you'll go to hale. Make your number, verify it on the track, and then focus on everything else. In fact, you shouldn't post here, or even look here, until the Runoffs are over. Else, curse of Ernie Jr. will befall you!
Besides, Daniels is going to win ....in any year of car .... after 1200 hours of dyno time ... and he told SportsCar who would win, which means those guys are TOTALLY screwed!!!

Guess who decided to change to a 2002 car for the Runoffs
Well. At least it doesn't look like a drunken chimp (or even a gorrilla?) ate nothing but asparagus, limeade, and green M&Ms for 7 days, and then threw his own feces on the car.
El Patrick is much better with the aesthetics ...

There is a pirate down in Texas, but they must of hog tied him and threw him in the Brig, as he hasn't been heard from for several years.
LOL ... good one, Pat!

Is that the stock lip for the 01-up? I've seen them before but didn't know they were legal?
9.1.8. Spec Miata Class Specifications
be removed.
b. Body repair shall be performed using every reasonable effort to
maintain stock body contours, lips, etc. Any body repair modification
having as its purpose increased clearance is prohibited.
c. The “R†package Miata chin spoiler is allowed on 1990-1997
cars provided it is mounted in the OEM location. 1999-up cars
may use the OEM chin spoiler for these cars (99-00 p/n: NC10-
V4-900F or 01-05 p/n: NO67-V4-900G).
Jim, the car looks great with the 01 nose. There's a reason 949racing runs them in their cars.
