Besides adding a dislike button are there any other features we would like to see added? I believe the software will allow " best answer type markings to posts and questions . I can only imagine

Jim, some of the other marquee specific forums have an "off topic" forum for those that are registered members. Seem to be popular and drive more traffic to the site, assuming that is your goal.

On the view new content page. Move your cursor to the subject, a grey box is there to the right. Click
It shows Orig post and last post for a few lines.

On the old site, we had a "drivers only" section and that never worked.

I would like to see a FAQ section where we can post Q and A for those frequently asked questions.

I would also like to see more band width, if that is the right term, so we could post more photos.

Icons or titles for  those guys who are truly in the business...car builders, motor builders, parts suppliers new/used, mechanics, instructors/coaches, Crew chief, data guys, NASA official, SCCA official,etc.. This allows a newbie or someone who is an infrequent user to have an idea who is responding to a question or comment. Granted, a lot of guys list there credentials already but not all...

How about an area specifically for posting race results or links to those results? It's not always easy to find events on mylaps particularly after some time has passed and even when you find them you might have to sift through a bunch of race groups to find the right one.

I belong to a web site that has and off topic section the all members go to about any subject that is not political or controversial. Then there is an off topic section for paid members only that is for those who are less sensitive to anything posted included adult content. They have a lot of traffic because of these off topic sections.

Also a place to post race results/ bragging rights.

In the "Today's Active Content" pane on the right side of the home page, it seems like that took me to the most recent post, until recently.  Now it's taking me to post #1 of the thread.  Is that a recent change?  I liked it better before because it takes scrolling (and clicks if it's multiple pages) to get to the latest post.

 

Another general web site request:  I'd like to encourage people to post a picture of their car in their gallery.  I like matching poster's names to their cars.
