At 113-114 I wasn't even able to stay in the draft with many of the guys around me. I was consistently getting dropped down the back straight. Some of those cars are stupid fast.

Good run Alex.  You drove a very smart race and kept your nose clean.  There were a couple times you could have really shut the door on me but didn't.  That kept you in the hunt.  You raced very clean at the Runoffs and at COTA.  Respect.

Congrats to Drago, Craig, and Charbonneau on their podiums as well.  It was an incredible experience to have such depth in talent at a double national in our region.

I lost track of the number of 99 mis-fire problems I heard about at this race.  I had the problem in my 99 at Nasa nationals a few years ago and it turned out to be the main relay going bad.  I guess a spare wire harness is mandatory spare part as these cars are getting older? And maybe a 10 year old kid to help get under the dash to change it out :)

Running in a semi-draft I never saw anything over 114 mph - I suspect that am a little shy of the Drago-Berry-Sandlin train, combo and a bit off the Bolanos- Charbonneau duo.

In Race 2 I had one lap with a push from Bolanos where I saw 118mph, but it was a total anomaly

My car was 107-108, with one or two 109s (GPS speed, not indicated).  Funny, nobody wanted to give me a push??

My view from mid pack. Interesting how the video amplifies mistakes. :banghead: This is full of "what not to do"'s. I pointed out a few with annotations on the first lap. T3 to T9 is a blast to drive. Enjoy!

Love the commentary... can you narrate one of my videos sometime??
