Has anyone that has upgraded their MyLaps.com existing account lost all results?  It sees my transponder (as Instance 0) but there are no results listed.

Same for me...  I have never liked Mylaps and it has only gotten worse now!

As far as I can tell, there is no way to access the "my results" section. If you search for events you might eventually find what you are looking for. I thought the site was "OK" before, its terrible now, basically unusable.

Agreed.  The old stuff is there, but you have to search for it by name.

I wonder why someone hasn't outsourced these to someone in China by now? Probably could sell for $150 each and make a very good profit?  Surely there is some way that people could get around the patent?

My Results doesn't work for me either.  Unfortunately events are not always named consistently year to year so searching is problematic.  I put in a support ticket with them...

After multiple attempts, got it to update for me....no results found...curiously, I have two practice sessions from last year showing when I ran an enduro..  ???  The laps are listed as practice sessions.

I'm just trying to track down a transponder that went missing since the ARRC and I can't look up any info to see who "borrowed" it.

do you have a choice not to update. I have seen the emails about doing it and have not had the time. maybe I will wait till all you guys complain maybe they will fix it.

there is a massive discontent brewing and an apology but no confirmation of the action to come.

 

There is a LOT of functionality on the site that is truly F'D up.

Have you tried accessing results without logging in? Not possible. You must log in to view results. This is really bad as many organizations have been relying on the my laps pages to post their results.

 

I tried posting to the MyLaps page as Danny suggested. However MyLaps is apparently filtering and have not allowed the post. If you want to offer some feedback, post it as a comment to the MyLaps apology post that is at the top of the page.

Half the time I can't log in (complains about them not having enough license slots).  Then when you do get in, things time out in a few minutes:

I can't find "my results" to save my life.  Searching on my name turns up a bunch of events that don't have me in them.   Same thing for searching for things like "NASA Championships".  Their search feature was always horrible, but at least I used to be able to use google and site:mylaps.com to get what I needed.  Now you can't even do that.

 

Who the heck tested the new site before it went live and thought it was a good idea?

I'm unable to get through the upgrade process.  I tried putting in my old login, password, and email address.  I get a notice saying I'll receive an email from mylaps.com.  Don't receive anything.  Went to fill out the contact form, and it won't submit because it says I haven't filled out the comments section.

Very Frustrating!

I had to try twice to "upgrade".  Got an email both times, but only the second worked.  (Did them on the 13th, 4 minutes apart.)   This has to be the worst blunder I've seen for a major company in a long time.  The site was annoying before, but with enough work searching you could at least pull up results, sort by class etc.  (I.e., Do what you needed to do to get contingency etc.)  It is just utterly broken and useless now.

Thanks Danny this was helpful everyone should do this and ask that they send an email keep us informed what what and when they are going to fix it.

I called their main number (in GA?) and managed to speak with someone in support.

 

They did agree there are some things messed up and notices, which were to have been sent prior to go-live, were still not yet sent.

And this was last week (Wed, Thurs - my days blur at this point).

My presumption (which they did not disabuse me of) is they had a new service prepped & waiting when for some reason decided to pull the trigger and make it production.

Whether it was due to a failure of the old version/system or someone not paying attention, you've obviously got a monopoly in-place that is behaving badly which makes the process all the more frustrating.

 

I still need access to get any results for 2012 to submit to MSM to maintain my account with them as a "Mazda Racer" for some parts.

I'm lucky to have others willing to do my shopping for me.  ;-)

I suggest that MyLaps changes their "About Page" to read
