My latest ticket/email exchange with them. No idea whether they will understand the Lord of the Rings reference, but one could come up with a good number of different "One does not simply walk into..." internet memes with this whole deal!

Thanks, I hope the solution comes quickly. "Practice results that are not personally registered" are useless to me - the only thing I need from your site are personal race results. I have never had any "practice results" and probably never will. One does not simply walk or drive into a motorsport circuit and start practicing.
Regards,
-Mark

Dear Mark,
First of all, I want to apologize for the delay in answering your question.
At this moment our website does not provide personal race and practice results, you should however be able to view the practice results that are not personally registered.
We are working hard to implement the personal results in the account again.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience the new website may have caused.
Kind regards,
MYLAPS Sports Timing

ever since they changed this site, i upgraded it and have never been back. Its useless to me and the only time I had to have it was to give results to Mazdaspeed. I will figure out a way to get that done or just save a few result sheets and fax it to them, this is BS.

Not that it makes their lack of customer service appropriate but the site does have results, you just need to know the URL to reach it.
Here is the URL for the results from this last weekend at Pocono:
As I said, not that it gives them a pass but it should give folks some people to chase down with questions/requests for their results URL.
Now that I have 2 races I can submit things to MSP and get that monkey off my back...

And that is a big part of the problem. Their search engine has always been horrible, and now that you cannot directly get to your personal results, the site is useless. This has to be the biggest cluster in a web site upgrade that I've ever seen.

So has this gotten any better for anyone? I tried to upgrade my acct, no luck. Can get a password sent, I tried to send in a note.. It says all fields not filled out, but they were. Very frustrating!

It is unbelievable. If I understand the navigation correctly, you can narrow the Event Results to "Car Racing" and "USA", but that's it. Then you have no choice but to look at a HUGE list of EVERY EVENT IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY. Want to look at something from a week ago? Plan to hit the "Next" button a few thousand times. Want to search for something like "SCCA". Sorry. No Search feature.
I've given up on it, too. It's gone from being a site with very interesting information, so something completely useless, a waste of time and aggravating.

Are you looking for your own results?
I found the "dashboard" link on the drop down when I click on my name very useful to find my own results
It defaults to practice laps, so on the next screen you must click the events tab
Have a look at CheckerLap.com:
CheckerLap was created by club racers (me) for club racing. The design is specific to our needs, for example points views:
And also the ability to sort results by time as well as position:
CheckerLap can also post provisional results during the weekend so you can view your unofficial results right away when you get out of the car. And of course, it all works on a smart phone as well as laptop.
The San Francisco Region of the SCCA has adopted CheckerLap and you will see all of our results posted there from now on. NASA Championships at Miller will also be using it. If you like what you see here, please encourage your club organizers to post your results too.
Thanks!

CheckerLap.com -- Your race results!
Looks promising Juan. Well done. No doubt there is a huge void to be filled helping racers keep results.
Hey Juan, I know you posted about this before.
Are you all official with MazdaSpeed if someone turns in results from your site?
J~
Are you looking for your own results?
No, not the last time I went to the web site. I wanted to see the SM results from Charlotte. Once I realized it would take a long time (scrolling and clicking 'Next' who knows how many times), I decided it wasn't worth the effort.
It's so hard to believe they would take away the Search feature. What were they thinking?

Hey Johnny, I haven't gotten set up with MazdaSpeed yet. -Juan

ok, but you see where I'm going.
Plug into MazdaSpeed,
I don't know what's going on with Mylaps.
I don't see the results from NASA at TH.
Talk with Jerry and get a hold of SCCA and you can fill the void.
And you'll be in like flint.
J~

Mylaps has a search window. It's the long horizontal gray box in the middle of the home page.
Type "daylight into dark" in that box and click "search" on the far right. Charlotte results will appear.

Thank you!
I was on the 'Events' page. No search there.
Maybe they saved money by only offering the Search feature on one page. <rolleyes> :-)
Think of it as saving you an extra click. You can search for results as soon as you bring up the MyLaps homepage. Easy as pie.
