I think Brown popped up in the last second as well 2.42.9xx (put him 4th or 5th) on lap 11.
And he is in a brand new car. Mr. Green met it's end at the SCCA double regional a couple weeks ago at Road America.

From the SCCA site:
Michael Ross, of Friendswood, Texas, was the first big accident of the week. His No. 22 X-Factor Racing/TPR Consulting Mazda Miata hit the wall in Turn 14. He was uninjured, but the Spec Miata will need some work for his week to continue…
Sorry to read this Michael and Pat.

In the 4 years Mike has been racing this is the first time he has damaged a car this severely. It looks like he will be ready for qualifying tomorrow morning, maybe in a back-up car.Pat
Ross car has definitely looked better. Glad he was OK as it looked like one of those that could have hurt someone, He was doing well that session as well. Ray Huffmaster hit really hard and was taken away in the ambulance. I spoke to Chris Childs, he is OK, real sore, but nothing serious. The car is destroyed! Lots of carnage here over the last couple of days. This event and track is definitely an issue for some of our SM guys as well. Lots of new people struggling to get to speed and concentrating on looking forward as they should, but almost getting run over while not looking in mirrors etc,
The Sm is oviously pretty good, I did that lap with one small push from Craig just before start finish, no other help. So of course, we changed everything on the setup tonight. Car was not reat good after a few laps. tomorrow should be better, but I'm sure it will be better for all, just looking for a top five tomorrow as are most. Pretty cool to see the last two champions 1-2 in practice today,
STl car was also fast, was P1 in practice, but the Hionda guys are not yet up to grips with the weekend as that was their first session. Tomorrow may be an entirely different story. My car was fast, but ill handling, we took a big swing at it for qualifying tomorrow. I got down to a 34.6 today. Hoping to get to low 34's tomorrow, We will see. ,
No idea what we are doing all day or why I am so wiped out, but I am in bed every day before 9. No idea how other s go out and party while here and make it on track.
Tomorrow is groundhog day I suppose.. We do today all over again, but for real this time. We go out by National points order, which should be intersting,

Thanks for condolences David and CNJ.
I was following a large train laid back to get a run out of 14, about 3/4 way to track out noticed the train checking up and I lifted and dropped the left rear. About 2.2 seconds later I was at a complete stop wonderimg how I hit am inanimate object without another car hitting me. I was worried I was going to stop the session early and I am sure I did a little, but most people I talked to were happy with the amount of practice time they got in. Car is a hot mess. Never knew their were so many vultures circling the rack until you bring back a car on a tow hook.

Cahall is improving, coach.

I believe that Berry and Stearns were working together for their lap. How about others?
