Sebring Majors race updates and results

I suspect many of us will post as the weekend evolves.
But my first post is to ask CFR/ Sebring as to why the registration for test day was not open the entire afternoon as it always is. There are over 200 people in a line outside test day registration right now. Seriously, has no one paid attention to Atlanta region and several others that do it right.
This is just a total disregard for customer satisfaction. UNACCEPTABLE!

Bench
from what we at OPM figured out with hand held stopwatches on the some of the faster guys, it appears if Craig Berry and Alex Bolanos won test days with low 2:37 laps. any were close, Selin Rollan, Dylon McHavern, Blake Clements, and several more.
It was really hot (in the 80's) very humid and by midday there was a 20mph headwind going into T17 so if you were on your own you weren't even getting into 5th gear. Tomorrow the weather looks to be colder so I suspect that we will have faster qualifying times, and many will sticker up as well, and this track likes stickers.
Still have not tried the SM& but I believe there will be several on the new tire tomorrow.

Looks like Blake on top? Also looks like not all cars went out? Not seeing a lot of the NE crew....
edit: maybe race monitor is catching up with the car count? All of a sudden I'm seeing more cars.

Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is.

The SM7 tires we ran all day were very good.
The 99 ran 35.5 following Berry.
The 01 ran 35.1 with very little draft (in STL).
Lots of fast drivers. Wish I could hang for the race. Will be on radios working with Ted, who has set a personal best and is gaining speed quickly. So rewarding!

The most rewarding thing about the weekend at Sebring is the fact that we have so many young talented drivers coming into this class
There were at least 10 drivers under the age of 20 and at least another 10 under the age of 25.
There is just nothing cool about a whole bunch of bald fat middle aged grey haired drivers like myself parading around the paddock in faded drivers suits, but when you have a whole bunch of good looking young hot shots parading around the pits, then others will come to watch as the class will be cool. And getting the young kids, and making this class cool has to be the best thing that can happen to it.
Regarding stickers
Still a big issue in this class with this tire. As much as I love the Hoosier, there has to be a way to make this work without breaking the bank
Pretty much everyone up front ran a set of stickers in each qualifier. I did not in the 2nd qually, and it showed.
