Oh man...last lap fireworks! Congrats to Craig for the sweep and to Alex for a tough fought weekend! Probably not the weekend our West coast representative Mr Drennan wanted...but all things considered, respectable! Nice job!

What a great weekend! Never dreamed a sweep was possible with this field! I want to THANK everyone for all the support! The last lap and turn 17 side by side with Lamb was beyond cool!... Will post video soon
Yikes side by side in 17! Congrats on the sweep. I'm guessing there are lots of stories from that last lap.

You mean the last lap that never happened according to the Bolanos protest supported by the SOM? The '"story" won't be final for a while...court of appeals. SM man-drama to kick off the '14 season...uhhg. Unbelievable and disappointing.I'm guessing there are lots of stories from that last lap.

Hey Mark, hope you had a good weekend regardless. I'm guessing there was lots of that throughout the field. Unfortunate.

I'm not sure why there would be a protest. Maybe it was from the officials. The race was either 40 minutes or 15laps. It looks like the should have waved the checker instead of the green.

Would that be the same SOM that choose to wave the green flag then give the win back to the yellow flag leader over .01 seconds? You mean the last lap that never happened according to the Bolanos protest supported by the SOM? The '"story" won't be final for a while...court of appeals. SM man-drama to kick off the '14 season...uhhg. Unbelievable and disappointing.
Based on what I hear...those that raced hard the last non lap know who won this race! And who moved up, crashed and fell back because of the last lap. Not the way most would take a win. As Todd says...you race to the Checkered! Just my sideline .02 which isn't worth a nickel

I see it like a black flag---- bring you in and find out they grabbed the wrong car--- race goes on....

Very disappointing that someone would file such a protest and want to win in that fashion.

Pat,
I believe Josey Wales = Andrew VonC, at least the car number is the same as Andrew's.

I noticed that someone (AVC?) #67 was racing under the moniker 'Un Forgiven' in SFR.

was it meathead or OPM that made up shirts that said "Spec Miata...I'm here for the man drama" or something to that effect?
sorry to hear about torn up equipment. bad mojo for all involved.
hope to see some of you big guns up at NJMP for that major.

I agree with Jim - it would be extremely disappointing if a participant protested in order to improve their position under those circumstances.
