If any of you guys have all the Safety required for racing and a descent amount of driving experience, come talk to me Saturday morning or PM me here.
We may be able to get you racing on a provisional license ;-)
Richard,
Thanks for the offer and wish I could take you up on it, but the car doesn't have a cage... hence me plateauing at TT.
I shall come over and introduce myself though...

hey guys,, how about a SM section at the event ?? I'd like to suggest everyone pit between turn 1 and the tower,, there are plenty of plug ins (for those of us who have RV's ) and lot's of room for big rigs and trailers .. Also quick access at night for those of us who camp outside the fence....

I got the green light from NCRC to block/reserve that section but may need some help from someone who's coming Friday....
Who will be there Friday afternoon and can put a few cones and a yellow band across?
(I'll be getting in town ~midnight)

I"ve got about 8 small cones,, but I will be there early so I'll do what I can,, It's usually not a problem anyway ,, all the ricers usually go under the awnings and there's lot's of open space,, just wanted to get the HUGE miata turnout parking in the general area.. Plus this is the closest spot to the after hours drinking that will be going on outside the fence!!

I have a canopy spot reserved, but I'll come visit you guys.
Maybe Todd can bring an extra 10ft canopy that way you can paddock with us and in the shade.
I only have 1 or else I would bring an extra for you.

I don't have an extra,, but you can get one cheap right now , check out the clearance section at WalMart, they are dumping all the season end camping stuff ( looks like rain on Saturday or I"d offer mine)

I'll be there running my first HDPE in a pretty ugly '95 Saturday. Anyone need crew for Sunday?

So looks pretty certain for rain on Saturday. Anyone have a set of rain tires I can borrow?

Hi Ryan,
sorry no extra set but according to my sources (weatherunderground.com) , it's rain in early morning so may not need the special tires ;-)

Just spray some RainX on your regular practice tires :-)

Nothing this week has gone according to plan, so I will be driving up tomorrow morning instead of tonight. Even though my canopy spot is reserved, it will probably be gone by then, so I may end up in the Miata Corral after all. If you'll still have me.

A bum knee kept me from attending this weekend.... but I'm wondering how things went?
Actually passed by the number #29 Miata on the way home from dinner tonight... fairly certain he was on his way back from Thunderhill when I saw him.

While not racing, I had a blast getting out on track for the first time. Huge thanks to Mark Means for lending tools and advice and all the spec guys there for being a welcoming group.
Oh, and JPatrick, I met your buddy Brian at the track and had a good time trying to chase him (and Mark's son) down.
