We were part of this at my dealership and we had the luxury of blowing up a mustang GT. One of the guys video it and put it up on YouTube,holy crap the hate mail and death threats he got over that was unbelievable !

Kuch, example only, only have one 1.6 duck.

 

Tom, by you playing along we now have the name of another owner/drive to be part of  a 1.6 group to hopefull push for the 1.6 to have equality with the 99 plus cars. If there is a better process to obtain names that support the 1.6 chassis please advise.  We 1.6er's need to start someplace.

 

Johnny, how about handling this thread like a professional moderator. Either support the 1.6 or park it for this thread.

Can't you just get the list from the org?  Most are not on this forum so this list won't be very long.

Don't have a clue what you mean by, list from the org. Understand many don't use the site.

 

Please everyone spread the word, the hopefull goal is to get a group, organize and do whatever we agree upon to hopefully push for the 1.6 to have equality with the 99 plus cars. Many of the 1.6er's would like to not see the 99 plus cars drive away when were all under 5,500 rpm (we do have race situations under 5,500 rpm), many don't want to be pushed to the point of a different car and or have the $$$ for another car. This shortage of torque below 5,500 rpm is nothing new, the shortage has been there since the 99 plus cars were classed within Spec Miata.If anyone does not see the full picture when viewing the dyno torque/hp graphs and posted torque comments that have been posted several times on this site please comment and I'll post the dyno graph. Jim, thank you for the dyno graphs.
