[MPR22]

Here we are hours away from one of the most important amateur road racing events of the year and nobody is talking about it.  It is crazy we will spend more time arguing over whether or not the NB suspension upgrade will help the 1.6 instead of talking about what should be a great race at great track.  

 

Put your parity pens down for the next couple of days and tune in to who will win the ARRC.  Johhny D. you seem to be good at importing entrant lists could you post the entrants to this years contest.

I'm headed that way shortly for registration.  From the update it sounds like the SM  & IT crowd will be relegated to outsider status and will all do the pre-race warm-up conga line on the roads to the infield/Pro pits for each session...

If it is a rain race look for Michael Carter to be up there.  I saw him do some great driving in a rain race earlier this.  Damn youngsters!

This will be the first ARRC event I will miss in 10 years.  Good luck to all.  I'd say Styen, Clements, Tiley, but if it rains then keep an eye on Hines and Campbell.  Drago, I can't beleive you're not going to be there.  It almost doesn't feel like the ARRC....

Drizzly wet test day in the bag. Fast guys were running fresh Hoosier H20's. Old wets and dry tires were close but the new tires were the ticket, even in drizzly conditions. Clements, Lamb, Tiley, Steyn and others were all hovering around the 1:52/52/54 range. Tomorrow looks like more of the same. Should be great racing on tippy toes for the next few days

You, Todd, or anybody else should really go ahead and build a top flight 1.6 and show the rest of us how competitive a 1.6 can be instead of putting down those that want to have a shot at winning against cars that are actually equal.

Been there and done that already, no plans on doing again, but will do so if you want to fund this time?

 Your entitled to your opinion. Mine is it is bad showing in the context of that the only reason these cars arent showing is rules blah blah and that there are hundreds sitting on the sidelines just for such a case.   

lets get to the racing not the place for this debate, I shouldn't have started.

It was a barn burner. Congrats to Danny and Michael Carter. Cliff was there but had an engine issue after taking the lead.
