I can't believe I am going to this event.. other than Stearns needing a race an agreement that I hoped Novak and Hille would forget about a Hallett for Grattan trade I would not be going. I am dreading this drive.. pulling out after lunch.. going to be a LOONG drive and rain tomorrow when I need to learn the track. On the bright side.. I am going to get some seat time in the T4 car... That should help for Mid Ohio. Only been in that car one weekend and there was no competition, some of the T4 front runners will be at this one.. we will see if we are in the neighborhood

Jim, you going to Grattan is ironic because earlier in the year I was posting $hit about you need to do the track. The Far Corner as it's know needs to be just right or it's an Oh $hit corner.
Maybe told this this true story. A few years ago a Prod car lost an axle in the Toilet Bowl kept on going until the front straight.
My trailer will be there as it's being used by a Prod guy.
Have Fun

We all received a SCCA Grattan Majors Media Advance within which the SCCA media folks missed a point. The 2016 SCCA Majors Championship National Points title for Spec Miata will be decided.
Have at it folks.

got in late last night and did the test day today. Never pulled the T4 car out as I struggled with pace all day.. This place is a blast, lots of fun to drive. I need to find about 3/4 second or so
From sight and conversations..
hille/smart arte pretty close at the top
voytek/nufer/novak/kicera close behind
me and several others just behind them
Unless we sleep ooff some time.. looks like Jordan/ Justin will be very tough to beat

Nice job by Max getting P2 just behind Justin. As with MidO a very quick study at new tracks!
I had to pull off after just 6 laps, less than half a session on a drying track.

Hey, it's a SCCA Majors which are all special big time events and (shouldn't) they all have live video. All the other Majors did. Or is it a Michigan thing. Ralph???

Is audio too much to ask ?
Well dont we start out with the best intentions and end up complaining about it?
How's the Majors SM fees vs tech going. Weights and plates? Or they're saving up for all the tear down at the runoffs?

FYI, the track announcer is leaving session notes.
I guess an announcer doesn't have to be audible. follow on tweeter ?

It was there. Some people just can't handle the pressure.
Hands start shaking, auto correct stops working and it's all down hill from there.
Maybe he/she will chat ? Here kitty kitty kitty.
