I'm willing to answer thought provoking questions in my own voice, with my own opinion, even if I don't use my real name because I don't want my ID stolen by the Irish, which are known hackers that have a worldwide reputation for being excellent with computers (LOL)
Absent that - you asked the questions, I was just foolish enough to answer. If you didn't like the answers, then feel free to counterpoint. Or don't ask the questions, I guess? What is YOUR solution to save the grandkids while moving everyone to and fro and keeping them warm and shipping their Amazon purchases and brewing their pumpkin spice lattes? I'm not being a troll, I spend a fair amount of time thinking about energy, even though it will probably never matter for me. After all, I have a $200 Predator generator from Harbor Freight, and I'm positive I can use that to bargain with Tina Turner and make friends with Mel Gibson while I fly to Canada in my Bensen B-8.
For those with grandchildren, studying our power grid is a good start. Once we fix the grid, alternative energy can stretch its legs.
