Opening lap was pretty fun, after that I dropped like a rock as the track got better.. I still need to learn to get more aggressive when it comes to the track drying up.

The entire front of the field was on rain ties. It wasn't raining but the track was still wet with they typical rivers at T1, downhill esses, and the treachorous one in T12. As the track dried we eventually got our lap times to 1:51's which IMO is the transition time.
I have tested at Road Atlanta on a wet track in the same session on wets, then changed to dries, and the best I have been able to run on slicks on the wet track is around 1:50
IMO in Sundays race we would not have been able to run close to those sort of times for the first 5-10 laps, and when running slicks on wet tracks you have to run the drying line, so you are unable to pass, and unable to defnd

That is one of the reasons why i asked if they were on the wets. Looked like some were jumping the curb at 3 also. More power to you if you can do it.

I watched. This race. From t10 and at. One point danny. Had slid. Sideways. Through t10a enough times. It looked like he had no. Shot at. A. Win... Somehow. In the last. Two. Laps. The. Got himself back to contention. To put. A. Very nice move on for a pass. Into 10a. On the last lap,. Almost making it stick. I would. Have. To say. At. 85yo. Or whatever his age is he just. Ran one of his most. Complete. Races. I have. Seen. Great job. By all. But have. To say. It could have. Gone either way and the. Days winner. Deserved. The win the most!
